The Gikas Apartments is a friendly, family run complex, located on a hillside overlooking Gouvia Corfu. The property is approximately 5 minutes walk (across the main road) from the bustling village of Gouvia and the shingle beach and bay is a 10 minute walk away. The complex offers studios and apartments, some in the main block and some in the grounds Location The village was originally built on the site of an ancient Venetian harbour and today it offers the islands main marina. Gouvia is also one of the most beautiful seaside suburbs of Corfu Island and is just 4 miles from Corfu town. It combines perfectly both traditional and cosmopolitan atmosphere. The landscape offers pine forests, vineyards wild flowers and orchids whilst the nearby beach is a mixture of pebble and sand. The island has plenty of water sports and an 18-hole golf course. Swimming Pools There is a swimming pool set in its own garden with free sun beds and umbrellas, a children`s pool, sun terraces and a lively poolside bar with satellite TV serving meals and snacks daily. The swimming pool bar has pool table (billiard) and all the football games are covered.
