The Marni Village is in a beautiful, quiet and elevated position, just 100 metres from the traditional, picturesque Cretan village of Koutouloufari, where guests can enjoy splendid panoramic views of the resort area of Hersonissos Bay. Well-kept gardens with trees, flowers and bushes surround the Marni Village and a playground, tennis court and several swimming pools for both adults and children can be found in the grounds of the complex. Weekly barbecues are organised with traditional Cretan music and dancing and there is also a karaoke night. This Crete complex has gradually grown to 118 beautiful and spaciously arranged apartments, suites and 3 new Villas with private pool. This gives the Marni its sense of a ‘village'. All rooms are simple and finished in a traditional Cretan style. The exciting nightlife, sandy beaches and the old harbour of Hersonissos are less than a mile away where there is also a long shingle beach and the opportunity to try watersports including scuba diving, waterskiing, windsurfing and jet skiing. There are several traditional greek tavernas in Koutouloufari village and the Marni Village staff are happy to suggest the best taverns and restaurants to visit in the villages in and around the Hersonissos area. Swimming Pools There are 5 swimming pools including 2 specifically for children. Outdoor showers, umbrellas and loungers are available on the terraces around the pool and the pool bar is positioned to make the best of the views over Hersonissos.
