The newly renovated Makrovilag is a small hotel in the downtown Budapest, just half a minutes walk from the Kalvin Square metro stop and adjacent to Raday street, which is a great place for younger visitors with lots of pubs and places to go out.
The Makrovilag Hotel has 15 guestrooms of varying sizes, suitable for between one and five people. The rooms are simple but well-equipped and each has its own separate bathroom with toilet. Reception facilities at the hotel are available 24 hours a day.
The Hotel Makrovilag was built in the first half of the 19th century, in 1839 and was originally known as the ‘White Peafowl Inn' (Feher Pava in Hungarian). The Makrovilag is ideal for youngsters, or budget travelers who want to enjoy the night life in Budapest and for those especially, who want to visit the main sights. The Old Market Hall, National Museum and Vaci Pedestrian Street are all within a five minute walk of the hotel.
