The Leela Hotel is a luxurious resort occupying a stunning location next to a river right by the sea. Spread across 75 acres, this South Goa resort hotel has its own 12-hole par 3 golf course, and is close to Mobor Beach, a small stretch of beach between the Arabian Sea and Assolna River Estuary to the south of Colva and Cavelossim beach's on the south Goa coastline. Although relatively isolated until recently this is now a popular tourist area and you will find souvenirs, gifts, antiques and handicrafts to take back home from the beachside shops.
The Hotel Leela Goa has 186 luxuriously appointed guestrooms and suites and is surrounded by attractive landscaped gardens designed to reflect the areas Portuguese and Indian heritage. All rooms also enjoy lagoon views except the Royal Villas and Presidential Suite which face the ocean and the golf course.

Please Note: there is room up gradation work, which may cause some disturbance. The 1st phase of renovation work at the hotel is complete. The next phase is scheduled from June to September 2012. As of now there is no work going on.
Eating and Drinking
This Goa hotel has a variety of options for wining and dining including Jamavar, the hotels signature restaurant which serves the very best in Indian as well as local Goan cuisine. It is said to be one of the best fine dining Indian restaurants in Goa! Nestling amidst the deck chairs and sun umbrellas by the free-form pool, guests can enjoy relaxed dining at the Café. Spread over three levels of seating the Cafe serves a mix of Western, Asian and local delights as well as a daily buffet style breakfast. For lovers of Italian cuisine there is Riverside which is set on an open terrace adjacent to the Sal River and is the ideal spot for a romantic moonlit dinner, or head for the beach and try Susegado, the most elegant seafood grill Goa beach restaurant. Susegado serves not only the freshest catch from the seas, but also well-grilled meats and fantastic frozen cocktails. For afternoon tea, pre-dinner cocktails, or a cognac and cigar after dinner there is the Yali Lounge which overlooks the attractive gardens and lagoon and has a soothing soundtrack with live Indian musicians. As you would expect, the Leela Hotel also has a poolside bar for daytime refreshments and Aqua, a popular meeting space by day which becomes a lively discotheque after dark.
Swimming Pools
The hotel has a swimming pool and a kid's pool which is surrounded by inviting furnished terraces and beautiful gardens providing ample space to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The pool also has a convenient poolside bar for refreshments.
