Location Situated near to the beautiful waterfront of Sliema, overlooking the capital city's majestic bastion walls of Valletta, the Fortina hotel is all about relaxation. The town of Sliema is quiet and picturesque - in total contrast to Malta's lively resort of Bugibba. While Hotel Fortina is set next to the coast, amongst other hotels, the resort of Sliema is traditionally very residential and commercial and not focused on tourism - so provides a great opportunity explore the local cultures of this Maltese holiday resort. A great place to start your exploration is the three mile long Tower Road promenade. Tower Road houses a variety of shops, restaurants and cafes. You can also find fundamentals, such as banks and supermarkets. Following the road north from the Fortina hotel you can reach the resort of St Julian's.
