Eating and Drinking
The a-la-carte restaurant De Roode-Leeuw is legendary for its Dutch regional specialities and has the oldest covered terrace in Amsterdam. It underwent a refurbishment in 2006 and with its dark paneling, Art deco features and wooden carvings it can be considered as a city landmark. Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or a drink and a snack including salads, sandwiches and a choice of warm plates as well as more elaborate dishes. From noon until 10pm an a la carte option is available featuring both Dutch regional specialties and more international dishes.
