AVAILABLE MAY TO OCTOBER - The Sol Parc apartments are on the beach and 500 metres from the centre of the village. Son Parc is a quiet beach resort close to the harbour town of Fornells. The beach is sandy and gently shelves into shallow waters, great for families with children. Pine forests cover the area around the resort and offer walking and horseriding as well as watersports on the beach. Location The apartments have direct access to the beach and are set in a forested area. Nearby is the islands championship quality golf course. The apartments are spread on varying levels throughout the complex. There are a variety of small shops, bars and restaurants. Accomodation One bedroom apartments sleep between 2 and 4 people and have a twin bedroom and a separate living area with a pull out bed and a sofa bed. Two bedroom apartments sleep between 2 and 6 people and have two twin bed rooms and a separate living area with a pull out bed and a sofa bed All have - bathroom/shower - WC - balcony/terrace - kitchenette - fridge - microwave - toaster - satellite TV - telephone - (certain amenities may be payable locally) Eating and Drinking The apartments have a buffet-style restaurant with show cooking daily, a bar and poolside snack bar. The apartments offer an all inclusive option which includes breakfast from 7.45am to 10.15am, lunch from 12.20pm to 2.30pm and dinner from 6.30pm to 9pm, all served buffet style. From 10am to midnight guests can drink as much coffee, tea, water, soft drinks, juices, wine, beer and national alcoholic drinks as they wish. For one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon children can enjoy ice cream and from 10.30am until midday, and then again from 3pm to 5pm guests can enjoy snacks such as sandwiches, hamburgers and pizza. Half Board and Full Board options include beer, wine, soft drinks and water. They also include a dine around option at 4 other restaurants in the area (Steakhouse/Grill, Italian, Mediterranean and also a Fish/Seafood restaurant) as well as the restaurant on site. The dine around option is bookable at reception on a first come, first served basis but in low season it could be that not all the restaurants are open so therefore is subject to availability. Most dishes at the dine around restaurants are included in the HB and FB rates already paid but some more expensive dishes carry a small supplement. Customers on self catering also enjoy a 10% discount at the dine around restaurants and at the supermarket on site. Swimming Pools The apartments have a swimming pool and a children`s pool.
