The Club Dante Apartments sit at the edge of the Armutalan area of the popular resort of Marmaris, with the centre a mere 15min walk away and just a short stroll (900m) from the beach and close to a good selection of restaurants, shopping and bars. Newly renovated in 2009 the Club Dante Apartments offer good, comfortable accommodation in a friendly relaxing atmosphere, and are a great base from which to explore the surrounding area. Local tips: There are plenty of shops within walking distance of the Club Dante Apartments and the Thursday market is a very popular attraction with goods to buy from all over Turkey and bargains to be had galore. The centre of Marmaris can easily be reached by local mini-bus (dolmus) or walking, and has an abundance of shops in its traditional covered bazaar, a castle, museum and many bars and restaurants around the aptly named 'bar street'.  Further afield, the most popular daytrip is Dalyan, the home of the loggerhead turtles and Lycian Rock Tombs, just over an hour away.
