The hotel was originally a 17th century working corn-mill and still today the waterwheel is a highlight of the comfortable restaurant, which offers guests a relaxed atmosphere and excellent traditional menu. Guests who prefer peace and quiet there is a bar in the winter garden. For banquets or conferences there are 2 function rooms available with a capacity of 20 - 80 people. This hotel is located on the A93, the road running between Banchory and Braemar. Dyce Airport and the train station are 16 km away. The hotel is conveniently situated for the local bus services into the centre of Aberdeen (9.5 km away).
